Someday
Chapter 4: Diurnal
****
Whereas the day and night differs from each other, I have also met her diurnal and nocturnal nature... and being bossy and childish were her nocturnal part.
Err... was it diurnal part?
I almost cannot distinguish it anymore.

"YAH~" She tugged my uniform as I went inside our classroom, just in time after the bell rang. I've been avoiding her for like... seven days? "Minho... why are you avoiding me?"
I did not answer. I swiftly enter our classroom and sat on my respective chair. I plucked my headphone and placed it on my ears. I buried my face on my desk and look at the window.
I could hear a screech on the floor, she was pulling her table closer to mine... and... "ouch!" I yelled in pain as my fingers got squished by our tables. it made my head tilted upward and I glared at her.
She stared at me with those wide eyes. She blink it countless of times. "It’s your fault, you’re holding the fringe of your desk." she said as a matter-of-fact. I exhaled loudly, trying to control myself, before I could pour out my anger and yelled at her. I divert my attention and looked blankly forward.
"yah~ Choi Minho..."
"Minho-kun."
"Miiiiinhoooooo."
"YAH! CHOI MINHO!"
I sucked in a lungful of air. "WHAT?! ARAGAKI YUI!!!?"
"oh great... finally... You talk... I thought you were angry at me..." She chuckled all by herself thinking her joke was funny. I closed my eyes and inhale and exhale until I could calm down myself. "...as I was saying..."
"CANT YOU AT LEAST SAY SORRY?!"
"Why should I say sorry when it’s your fault?!"
I heave a sigh again and shook my head. The classroom was hushed. I don’t if we got our classmates startled for the second time.
I could see a calm face of her. Whilst I could feel my forehead throbbing and I’m gritting my teeth.
After that, neither of us tried to speak again for the rest of the afternoon.

The next day, I sigh in relieved as I saw her empty chair.
I brought out the new book Jessica-noona has sent me, entitled ‘Sophie’s world.’ It’s about Philosophy… and I don’t know why am I still reading it, since Philosophy is not my forte.
"Good morning Minho." That voice. It gave me a frown on my face. Inevitably my head turn to my right. I saw her flashing those wide smiles again.
"Good morning Yui." I answered quite sarcastically.
"So, how was your night?"
I've thought of the best, acerbic and honest answer. "Well... I called the manufacturer, asking how was my PSP… if they can still do it, after SOMEONE had broken it to pieces. How about you?”
“Oh… That’s bad… I hope they could have fixed it… Or wait… I’ll give you mine instead… To compensate for your broken PSP, I hope the ONE who broke it would have a conscience.” She giggled. “I hope you don’t mind it’s pink.” My jaw dropped down again. WHAT?! She’s giving her PSP away? Tsss! Is she crazy?! Anyway, I cannot even remember how many times it happened it to me since she came. (When my jaw dropped open.) She laughed. "Well... Me? I've thought of you all night." My heart began to race again. I swallowed hard and laugh a nervous one. I pulled the collar of my uniform and loosed my necktie.
“Why?”
“Because… I like you.” She said. The anger inside me suddenly melted. I felt embarrassed that my cheeks would be reddened.
