Chapter 8: Hysteria

"Let’s go on a date." I said looking at her while I stood up in front of her table. Her eyes became widened. It looked really funny.
"Eh? What did you say?"
"I said, let’s go on a date."
"Don’t you have work today?" she asked.
I laughed and answer her in most cynical way, "why? Even if I had a part time job, I know you’ll force me not to go there."
She laughed and shook her head. "How did you know I would do such thing?"
See? She's guilty! She stood up and put her bag on her back. She walked closer to me and looped her arms around mine.
"Cause you are Aragaki Yui."
Instead of hearing her loud and cheerful laugh, she didn’t utter any single word. It felt awkward;
Neither of us talked for like minutes. The silence felt like eternity, I never thought Yui could shut her mouth, once in her life.
"Are you okay?" I bend down and looked at her. She had this blank expression, but when I looked at her, I know she felt awkward because she blushed.
She smiled again. "Yeah. I'm fine."
"So where do you want to go?" I asked as we continue to walk outside the school premises.
"I want to drink some coffee."
"Okay, let’s go to the nearby coffee shop." I grinned.

"Sir... can I have your order?"
I smiled at the barista to show her my respect, "I'll have caramel cream based... Grande."
"How about you ma'am, what’s your order?"
"I think I'll have the same."
The barista nodded and ask, "Ma'am... would you like to try our new Double chocolate Chip frappucino?"
Yui shrugged her shoulders and say, "Okay."

The waitress walked closer to our table and handed our drinks.
When I was about to get my tumbler, she hastily stole it and zip. Consecutively she took a zip on her own drink. Then all of a sudden, she immediately spit out on the tissue.
“Yui, are you okay?” I asked as I held her hand. My eyebrows creased.
"What the hell is this!!!" She screeched.
My jaw dropped open. My eyes widen.
My heart started to pound very fast. I got bewildered with her actions again.
"How come they have different taste?!"
The waitress looked at me. I could see she got confused and got nervous as well. She opened her mouth and talked calmly, "ma'am you order double chocolate Chip..."
"I DID NOT! I said I'll have what Minho will buy."
"Ma'am... I asked you, if you wanted to try this, then you said okay."
"HUH?! What are you talking about?"
I felt embarrassed. "Yui, calm down." I said. I rose up from my chair, and bowed to the waitress and to everybody who’s inside the coffee shop.
She's in her hysteria mode again which causes this commotion.
"LOOK! I never order this drink, so better change this before I call your manager!"
"But Ma'am..."
"Yui." I hissed. I wanted to tell her that she really ordered that chocolate… But I guess she forgot. I really feel sorry for the waitress.
Yui glared at me. "Choi Minho zipped your mouth. I'm not talking to you!" And I did. She faced the waitress again, "You'll have to serve what I wanted to drink, or else I’m really going to call your boss, araso?!"
The waitress nodded and scooted. Yui exhaled and looked around, she was feistier, "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!!!"
I shook my head and cover my face.
Oh boy. What a date.
