cutterpillow92 Nightfall.
The first time we met.
66 days after.
Blind date.
That's what they say.
Wooden table.
Wooden chair.
Plates and spoon in front.
Lampshade above.
Mellow music.
"So what do you do?"
The lady companion asked.
Her name is Lee Eun Jung.
"I draw.... I designed." I replied in sturdy. "I'm an architect student."
"Oh. That's cool." She said in full amusement. "I'm an English major."
I nodded slowly.
She continued to talk.
I did not listen.
I look straight at her eyes.
She looked away.
I asked, "Do you believe that true love comes once in a lifetime?"
Narrowed forehead.
Wrinkled eyebrows.
Lips pursed.
She shook her head and answered, "I believe in love, but there's no such thing as true love."
She gave me a half smile.
"I do." I confessed. "But all I do was to took her for granted."
Flashes of memories started to display in front of me.
Me and Her.
Us.
Together.
Smiles.
Tears.
Together.
"I'm sorry to hear that."
She said with sympathy.
"I got tired of her. I consulted my friends. They say, I should break up with her, since our relationship wasn't healthy anymore. I followed their advice. There was freedom, but no happiness."
A clash of metal to metal broke the silence.
I gazed upward.
She was not listening.
Perhaps she got bored.
I smiled.
"So do you have any example of your drawings with you?"
She questioned.
I nodded.
I brought out the paper.
She grinned.
Astonished,
"This house is so beautiful."
"That is Mina's dream house." I said with a smile.
A two storey house.
With Attic.
With veranda.
With garden.
With gazebo.
This is Mina's dream life.
A happy home.
The two of us.
Building our future together.
With kids.
With pets.
Happy home.
"That is Mina's dream house, for us. The two of us. Together."
I added.
