Before Sunset

It was before sunset when they first met.
Under the shade of a maple tree, a gush of cold breeze wafted along the side walk.
Lee Jinki pushed his eye glasses.
Fixed the strap of his bag over his shoulder.
His gazed were firmed downward.
All of a sudden, a flying piece of paper, stroke his face.
He smirked.
"Shooooooot!"
Someone yelled in panic. He angrily removed the paper from his face and tilted upward with narrow eyebrows.
He saw her, bending restlessly; picking up the scattered pieces of paper on the road.
He did not hesitate. He jogged towards her direction and helped.

He imitate her; bending forward, picking up every pieces of paper.
After he had collected everything, he walked closer to her and passed those papers.
By the time their gazes met.
It was destiny.
She got mesmerized over his eyes.
At the same time, he got hypnotized.
"Kamsahamnida . (Thank you)"
She spoke. He blinked once, twice, before he snapped out of it.
She got smitten, but she doesn’t want to pursue him. He got smitten, but he was too shy.
She wanted to talk, but she was afraid of being neglected. He wanted to ask, but his tongue, suddenly retreated.
They stood still for minutes. It was awkward.
She wanted to go. He wanted her to stay.
He was laughing nervously it made her smile.
"Are you new here?" Onew asks her. Deep inside her, she was really happy because he finally breaks the silence.
She shrugged and grinned. "Yes... and this is one of my part time jobs."
Onew blink in disbelief. "Wow... Let me guess you've got tons of jobs?"
She laughed breathlessly, "nah, I only have two... I'm a student, a part time teacher and this... I don’t know what you call this... kind of job..."
He grinned and looked at the ground shyly. "Uhmmmm.... May I know your..."
She chuckled lightly and signaled him to wait, he did. She unzipped her bag and plucked her cell phone. She stride far away from him. Leaving him behind, he fixed his clothes and started some vocal practice.
'My name is Jinki, and you are?!'
Too arrogant.
'My name's Onew, but they call me 'Mr. Klutz.'
She might laugh.
'I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Lee Jinki.'
Perfect!
He pulled his collar and swallowed hard. She spun around and looked at him. He smiled at her and walked closer, "I'd like to---"
"My boss called, he wants me to go back. Thanks for helping me out. See you around."
She smiled at him and walked away. She looked back again and waved her hands at him for the last time.
He stood there blankly. His shoulders shrugged. He yelled, "WAITTTT!! My name is Jinki!! Lee Jinki!"
Then she smiled sweetly at him... the best smile Jinki had ever seen.
