I feel trapped

We were going to go, the prospect of having nowhere to go didn't stop us. However, not having anyway out did. My house feels dark, some of the big windows are boarded up, and others blocked by furniture. I don't want to see the sun. IT looks like there is no hurricane, but it feels like one.
