[Hi, Mayfield! It's time for a Public Service Announcement from your friendly neighborhood cuttleman. He sounds kind of panicked (more than usual) and is tripping over his words (more than usual). This is because he's in stage four secret-spilling mode!]

So, um, everyone knows that Annie Goldstein -- you know, my friend, Annie Goldstein, the one w- ( Read more... )

D-don't tell me you're another person wh-who's going to use this information to hurt her b-because I'm beginning to think I've really f-f-fu-messed up here.

Werewolves are quite valuable resources where I'm from.

...

[Goddamnit, why did he say that? He really should get off the phone.]

Oh wow, she's seriously a werewolf? That's kind of cool.

Although good job on giving everyone the instructions on how to kill her.

Oh my g-god you too?!

L-look I'm just bad at filtering and I c-could never do it and I thought it was better that people knew I guess because apparently she's even more psychotic and d-dangerous when she goes all f-feral!

[Just. Every flail. Every flail ever.

All of them.]

What do you mean, 'me too'? I'm just pointing out that it wasn't the best call. It's not like I'm getting out the pitchforks and going on a man hunt. I think she's still a pretty cool bitch.

[She what she did there? Yeah, Raquel can't help but snicker a little to herself at that one.]

What should I tell her if she shows up looking to murder you?

U-um. You can tell her th-that I'm sorry and in the livingroom? I m-mean, I couldn't really fight her off and I don't th-think you could either so m-might as well let it happen.

...Thank you for the assassination details.

Now you wouldn't happen to know anything about reports of a werewolf fighting a cyborg in the middle of the town park a few days ago, would you?

U-um... no, I... I must have missed that...

Which I think is a g-good thing because it probably w-would have just aggravated my anxiety which I really do not need r-right now.

[hint hint]

Your anxiety is important to me only insomuch as your stuttering is driving me mad.

[Susan is somewhere high up there herself with this whole blurting out the truth thing.]

Any details on killing cyborgs, then?

O-oh. Um. S-sorry. Sorry. It's been a problem for a while n-now.

And. Um. No. Sorry. I mean, I've s-seen my share of cyborgs but beyond maybe short-circuiting the mechanical parts, I... I don't know?

[And here's Lex, happy as can be. New kryptonite to kill a mortal enemy!]

Really?

Simple mistletoe, wolfsbane, and mountain ash.

Is it due to mystical or chemical properties?

cuttlefidget July 14 2011, 00:43:55 UTC
C-chemical, I'd guess, b-because it has to enter her bloodstreamheeeey w-who are you and why do you want to know?

Ah.

So it needs to react with the blood.

Simply a precaution, as you were saying.

Great.

[Oh hold on a moment she needs to take this quick bit to shout across the house don't mind her.]

ANNIE WE NEED THAT PHONE DON'T BREAK IT.

Okay, I know we're all having a case of the acute blabbermouth syndrome, but that could have been handled a lot better. Hopefully people won't try to break into the house, since I'm not really in any condition to try defending the fort, and I have no idea about the others. Annie can generally take care of herself, I'd assume, but if anyone breaks in with those we're going to have a problem. While these things are good to know in case of emergencies, I'm am fairly positive that someone around here is going to exploit this.
