yeah, I had to take an engineering fundamentals class, and I took environmental law for fun...got Cs in both

I don't really want to go into law.

I sent you an e-mail, so you can read that in private.

Meanwhile, I offer you comfort and a *BIG HUG* :-) Cheer up! I know it's hard to think about, but SOMEHOW your life will turn out just right.

Thanks for your email, it was very comforting. I know everything will turn out, but right now I feel like it's just a mess.

Haha yeah...stop wasting your time with worthless stuff, drop engineering, and just do what you're best at. (reading and writing??)

The problem is, I don't know what I AM good at. I'm not good enough at writing to do it for a living. And who ever heard of a professional reader?

You could be a book critic, editor or publisher...

i would say give the engineering major another semester. that way, you can give the courses that you've already signed up for a chance (and you can always add/drop those) while still giving yourself another semester before you actually have to declare a major.

The problem is, as soon as I finish the semester I have to declare a major. Once I take so many credits (72 I think) I'm required to declare my major, and thanks to all those AP classes I'm a semester ahead credit-wise. I'll take the classes I'm signed up for, but if I keep sucking at engineering like I am now, I don't think it's a good idea to declare it as my major. Garum.

An English major at tech is not nearly as bad as you make it out to seem, nor is the liberal arts department. It's the second largest college on the Tech campus.

I guess the disgruntled engineers have to go somewhere...
