-Anything by P.G. Wodehouse is good -Revenge by Stephen Fry -Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie -Woman at Point Zero by Nawal El Saadawi is depressing, but great if you can find a copy. -Zayni Barakat by Gamal Al-Ghitani (sp?) -Persepolis 1 & 2 by Marjane Satrapi...these are graphic novels, but they're really remarkable. They're about a young woman growing up in Iran during the Islamic Revolution and the effect of that on her and it's just really amazingly done. -Also, this really long book that my Arabic teacher recommended called Infinite Jest by...David Foster Wallace I think. It's quite think though, so I'm still trying to plow through it, but really clever and funny and well-written
