well, the typhoon passed and never really hit HK head on (just gave us a ton of wind and rain all day). today it's sunny and clear and not so obnoxiously humid. everything looks new again and it smells like an early spring day in ohio

my dad's parents are in ohio as of wednesday - you should come out to dinner with us at some point (i'll be back in town sometime this weekend i think). i'm sure they'd love to talk to you about the semester.

that'd be so great! maybe i can practice my really terrible cantonese too! i'll be home sunday evening and have a week off before starting work on the 28th. just about anytime would be good for me.
