i think that you can't donate blood for 2 years either since there's a question about travel to southeast asia and subsaharan africa.

yeah, i can't donate blood anyway because the first time i tried the nurse told me that i had a heart murmur...

yeah, i've given up on donating as well. first i had anemia as a vegetarian and then we found out that my veins aren't strong enough for those giant red cross needles. which apparently means that i would be a crap intravenous drug taker as well since heroin takes a larger gauge than hospital needles..

Hey I came back from China with some strange cough/cold type thing. I just think it was because I was sharing germs with a group of 25 people who were all starting to get towards the end of the trip. But I casually mentioned that it could be the Bird Flu to some one and they got all freaked out and told me to go to the Dr. I think they're crazy. There's nothing wrong with a little Asian cough.
