Ok, from the amount of general freak out posts popping up, I'm guessing we've sailed off the chart of day-to-day Barge activities and into the realm of the weird.   Great way to ring in the first weekend.

Soo question: does anyone actually recognize the people who are getting all hackeratti on the journals, or do we have no idea where they're coming

Took the words right out of my mouth. Karrin Murphy, new warden. You?

From the conversations I've had time to monitor, it looks like it's almost even odds as to whether or not the people cutting in are familiar.

Buffy Summers, also new warden.

Hmm. I'm trying to decide if that's potentially a good thing or a bad thing. I suppose it must be nice to hear from some people back home.

Others... not so much.

My first weekend we crashed into a planet under the rule of an oppressive dictator. I'm not entirely sure why so much panic is occurring, nor where these people have come from.

... Ok, you win the best camp story, definitely.

Undoubtedly this will be fixed eventually, in the mean time, making some acquaintances doesn't seem like an entirely wasteful way to spend the day.

Well, I wasn't really looking to sign up for the penpal program.

Me too. Apparently, most people too. But on the weirdness scale, I'd say this rates pretty low, right?

Depends on your definition.

This is light compared to some of the other shit I've gone through.

People bursting uncontrollably into song and/or flames? Weird.

Random internet stalkers, that shouldn't be able to access our space-boat-net? A head scratcher, but not really weird.

So what else has happened?

I love your journal tags. My God. chaucer May 9 2010, 11:16:47 UTC
For the first time in my life, I think I may be perfectly stunned at a vocabulary.

Awww, thank you ;__; Also, omg Chaucer <33 lmao cuzitswrong May 9 2010, 12:27:06 UTC
You know, I'm gonna go ahead and take that as a compliment in the form of 'stunning'.

Let's focus on the important part of the story: Paul Bettany is naked. chaucer May 9 2010, 12:30:28 UTC
Oh, absolutely, my lady. No doubts about that could possibly be had. Embarrassing as it may be for a writer of my caliber to admit, the meaning of hackeratti eludes me entirely. Care to illuminate the issue?

This is important, yes. :3 I think there should be ... Skype involved so Buffy has to deal with it cuzitswrong May 9 2010, 23:43:16 UTC
My lady? That's... very delightfully old school or... Renaissance Faire-like of you.

Oh, well it wasn't ... real Italian or anything, if that's what you were afraid of. I just meant the people hacking into the system for potentially sinister purposes.

yayyyy! cuzitswrong May 9 2010, 23:45:11 UTC
Thanks! I'm all about... spreading the fun. I was referring specifically to all these people showing up that nobody seems to know. It just seemed very sketchy and mafia-like to me.
