while i don't condone outbursts, it astounds me that you were suspended and roberta borenstein was not.

the shushers who need to be shushed themselves are one of the most annoying parts of scrabble. for chrissake, learn to focus on your game and stop worrying about freakin' noise around you. ugh.

I heard a rumor that Roberta Borenstein was suspended, actually. Was that totally bogus?

my suspension was originally listed as 6/8 thru 6/29, albany interval, rebeginning on 7/5. i had heard that Roberta Borenstein was at some point listed as SUSPENDED. Not only did Roberta NOT get suspended, but special allowances are to be made for her so she can be comfortable (away from NOISE).

i have no opinion on Roberta Borenstein, but it is just one more reason things NEED to change or at the very least IMPROVED upon. It should not take an Act of Congress to fix what needs fixing in tourney scrabble. issa shame shit is da WAY it izz--but there are, of course, many more MUCH MORE important things dess a shame...

NASPA touched me cuz they COULD--dey seemingly CAN do so wif impunity. i don't like bein TOUCHED n it piss me off to NO END to designate da blank (FOLLOW CERTAIN RULES). i can't do shit by myself--n i aint in no mood or shape to FIND da help dat i NEED. but i WILL LOOK...

as for the blank, you just need to be prepared for when someone takes advantage of the rule that if you don't write it down, later they can make it whatever they want and write it down. that would piss me off more than writing it down, especially if they make it whatever letter they need to bingo through.

as for roberta, no she did not get suspended, but annette did finally decide to disallow her from attending her tourneys anymore. about time, too. i don't know how she put up with her for so long. the woman has the patience of a saint!
