whenever i comment on a position, i have the benefit of looking at any given one with the benefit of years of experience. That, combined with my predilection for obsessively flipping shit around in my head, is the reason i speak so authoritatively when analyzing a given position

I've always enjoyed your analyses, and have found them to be quite helpful.

It helps that in many ways we play similarly...when my word knowledge is up to par for a position, anyway.

i don't REALLY care if somebody get offended, but Wiegand recently said i said sumpn HARSHLY afta i noted i wuzz jokin. n yesterday, i thought about what i said to Noah (a teenager??) about NOT using his brain/THINKING.

players who grew up with computers have the advantage of a study aid, but yall totally fuck it up by misusing dat tool. i OFTEN laff to myself--AFTA CRYIN--thinkin if we wuzz playin for loochie dat i would thank Jason n John 4 creatin a whole buncha players dat CAN'T play. iss NO substitute for studying positions over the board except MAYBE a hyperintellect--n even dat would have to be HONED to play scrabble SKILLFULLY. any idiot can pull da trigger on an uzi...

i mean i will let noah speak for himself (yeah, he's 15), but I don't think there is anything unfairly harsh about it. I can admit myself that I'm not dedicated enough to studying to say I'm using any tools correctly.

i find your analysis of positions very enlightening, actually, keep it going. whenever i use tools i think for a long time about why a move would be better than another move, but still don't come up with all the ideas.
