i lost 1.4 pounds this week, for a total of 8.2 so far. this is slow going, but i'm hanging in there. i've been eating so much better than i used to, drinking loads of water and making sure to take long walks almost every day. i want to get a pilates video and get back into doing that as well, i used to really enjoy it. i never drink milk anymore ( Read more... )

 well, only a .8 pounds loss this past week. oh well. i had a really good first week so i guess it's to be expected. i still think i ate quite well and we got plenty of exercise, so we'll see how i do after this week. at the least, hopefully i can just make some lifelong changes in my eating habits, and raise finn to have better eating habits than ( Read more... )

so today was exactly one week since i first weighed myself and then began trying to eat well. i weighed myself yesterday since i want to usually weigh myself on sundays, but then i weighed myself again today since it was a full week and i wanted to see. anyway! shockingly, i hopped on the scale this morning, and it showed that i had lost 6.2 pounds ( Read more... )

things have been going really well around here. i've gotten into a groove of doing my hair, putting on makeup, wearing nicer clothes. so i've been feeling much better in general about a lot of stuff. i don't think it hurts that it's warm weather now too, so i love getting out and enjoying it. nothing beats fresh ( Read more... )

i've been reading back through loads of my archives the last few days, which is so surrel and nostalgic. it's amazing that i have YEARS of my life detailed through all these thousands of entries, and it's crazy to read back over my life in college, post-graduation, and beyond.
