A Very Potter Musical

I may be late in joining this bandwagon, but I have to say that A Very Potter Musical (formerly known as Harry Potter: The Musical) is the best damn HP parody I've ever watched. I can't remember laughing so much! One of the best parts was the Ron/Hermione makeout scene - it had me literally rolling on the floor laughing - but hands down, any scene ( Read more... )

C, I need to see that artwork of Mike's! Oh, and did you make one for Ella (deadwoodpecker)? Promise me you'll let me see that one, as I know it's going to be hawt. ;)

I loved "I'm In Love with Hermione Granger" too. LOL. Ron and Draco emoting were just so funny. And every time Draco rolled around on the floor - I just had to laugh and laugh.

The only thing I didn't like was the way they made Ginny so whiny and screechy. It was very annoying, but at least they still kept H/G.

I remember laughing hysterically the first time I saw it (which was actually not that long ago). And the SONGS--I can't believe how much they put into it. It's really quite a fun romp for crazy fans like us.

I saw the opening scene or two for the sequel/prequel but haven't gotten much past that first Lupin/Snape scene. I'll watch it at some point I'm sure--but the first one, though. Pure Joy.

The songs were obviously a labor of love. The best thing is that most of their lines were things that only true HP fans would get.

The Lupin/Snape scenes are freaking hilarious but for me, Lucius Malfoy stole the show with his grace and elegance. LOL. You'll have to watch it to get what I'm talking about.

One of the fun parts is that Lucius Malfoy = Cedric Diggory from the first one. It's hard to pick up at a glance, or at least I didn't, but once you know...you can see the same actor in there. He must've had a blast.

Yes, and the actor who played Dolores Umbridge was the same one who played Voldie, wasn't it? I may be wrong, but if I'm not, I have to say that I liked his interpretation of Voldie way better.
