Wow, I can't believe I actually wrote 7 (8, if you count in my entry for the winter hg_seasonsfest) stories in 2010. I even managed to finish a multi-chaptered one!

I had a writing slump right after Deathly Hallows came out, since I couldn't seem to wrap my head around the fact that all these characters suddenly got bumped off. (Tonks, Hedwig, Fred! *sob*) And ( Read more... )

I attempted to write some last night - it was hideous.

I will endeavour to try again. My main problem atm is that my laptop is well and truly dead. It's been sent for spare parts. I need to wait a few weeks until I know if I ahev and where my job is this year. then i can do one of the following - a) borrow one with WiFi capability from school for the year, b) save up for one, c) salary sacrifice for one. Eitehr way I ahve to get one as I will need it for work most definitely. I have to have a computer for my use as I don't have exclusive access to this one and I do find it easier to write on the laptop I must say!

Still ... school goes back in 3 weeks so something will happen soon.

Oh and I forgot - no we haven't been affected by flooding. We live waaaaaaaaay south and the floods are in Northern Queensland.
