this chapter is just a little too short for me. i could use a little more of ennis' feelings. i do wonder what the waspish woman represented though. i like what she said to ennis though. anything that encourages him to reach out for jack is ok in my book.

Well, Happy Halloween to you and well, the vision of this women with the words spoken was great on t his Halloween evening when the spirits are speaking to all of us if only we would listen. I think Ennis will listen and he will do the right thing once and for all but I think he will have to do some major talking which is really hard for him but I think now he has the courage to do so and well, let's bring on Jack and get this love affair off to where it belongs in the arms of two human beings who deserve to be together forever and not alone and sad and half a life.
