I've decided I really hate the process of buying a house.  When you first start looking it's exciting and fun, but after you go to the effort and stress of putting in offers and things a few times and miss out that wears off.  I have looked on and off for the last couple of years, put in an offer on a reasonable number of places and obviously not

*hugs* - it's vile isn't it? I started to hate it towards the end - and we got our second house.

I wouldn't count on that given current interest rates... Although who knows what will happen in the longer term...

Yeah, I guess one thing is that's there's likely to be less competition from 'investors' buying more property, even if they can hold on to the ones they have.
