Name: Saito, Yasushi. Age: 27-28. Gender: Male. Profession: He is the Gym Leader of Old Rose Town, a strong Pokémon trainer who battles trainers passing by and awards them badges if they win. Losing challengers are welcome to try for badges over and over again if they fail first time round.
Gym Number/Location: 8th/Old Rose Town Gym Type: Psychic. Some of his team is dual-typed. Gym Puzzle: To pass through the gym, one has to collect five Zener Cards from the Psychic Trainers. They are keycards used to unlock the main arena. There's one card per trainer. Personality: Frustrated that he's outgrowing his gym trainees in his psychic abilities, Yasushi feels intellectually superior and has resorted to travelling to see if there are strong trainers and noteworthy people who can face his abilities. Though an extroverted person, he doesn't get along with others; his blunt words and egotism don't gear people to like him, and he seems to prefer solitude over socializing

Pokemon: Alakazam Gender: Female Ability: Synchronise Short Bio: Alakazam has been in no rush to evolve. It first evolved when Yasushi was eighteen years old and again when he was twenty five. She has a jolly personality and has been trained to battle the Pokémon that would otherwise have her beat. He plucked the Pokeball from his belt. It would do his Pokemon good to have some company, and not so good if he let Bronzong out for a spell. Oh, it could levitate - but his Bronzong was remarkably foul-tempered. It wouldn't, and would sink the gym out of spite. His index finger clicked the button, and there was a flash of energy.
"Ah, Starmie come on out now."
The light faded; his named Pokemon was standing on pointed tips to his left, and suddenly it flew off and landed with a splash in the ocean. But suddenly another of his Pokeballs opened, and from the flash came a "Woooooooooobuffet!" A Wobbuffet was standing with its left arm across its face, eyes crossed.
Yasushi stood there, and then sighed. "Not you." But he didn't have the heart to put it back in its ball.

Notable Possessions: None. She has a Pokedex but it’s nothing special. Badges Collected: None. Favourite Pokemon: Rhydon, Rhyhorn, Rhyperior. The bigger the better.
Appearance: Asuka is of average height with short green hair that’s thin and straight, and a fringe that parts either side of her face. Looking at her directly, there always seems to be a distracted look: she’s just thinking about what to say. She looks like an airhead the rest of the time. Personality: Asuka is a ditz - she spends a lot of her time sleeping or otherwise being spacey, and doesn't seem to know what's going on half the time. Pokemon: Rhyhorn Gender: Male Ability: Rock Head Short Bio: Rhyhorn is the first Pokemon Asuka caught as a Trainer. She caught it in the Ossia National Park, not to fill a place on her team but because Rhyhorn is the pre-evolution of one of her favourite Pokemon. There is a hope that one day he’ll evolve, and this is driving a wedge between Asuka and her Pokemon that is causing resentment on Rhyhorn’s part. However, Asuka is in no rush for this to happen and so it comes down to a misunderstanding. Moveset: Horn Attack, Rock Blast, Take Down, Scary Face.
Pokemon: Kangaskhan Gender: Female Ability: Scrappy Short Bio: Kangaskhan is a Pokemon who has been part of the Sasaki family since Asuka was a baby. Favourite Pokemon: Dragonite, she loves Dragon Pokemon in general, the first Pokemon she ever had was a Dratini, given to her when she was very young.
Appearance: Jasmine is five-foot-six with short red-brown hair and a boyish figure. She normally wears a bathing suit, as she is training in the Gym for a large chunk of the day. Outside of the Gym, she really doesn't care much for clothes and wears jeans and a t-shirt. She normally wears a hat as well.
Personality: Jasmine is rather hot-headed and impulsive. Pertinence is not a virtue that she has, and she is very quick to jump to conclusions. Name: Kido, Tamaki Age: 22 Gender: Male Profession: Gym Leader Gym Number/Location: 1st/Orange town Gym Type: Trains Flying types of pokemon. Gym Prize: Aerial Ace TM40. Gym Puzzle: Inside the gym there are bridges connecting platforms all the way to the leader at the back. A player with a flying Pokemon capable of supporting their weight can fly right over the pit, otherwise they have to cross the bridges and battle 2 sets of trainers in double battles. Those with flying Pokemon have to face one trainer in a single battle on a platform suspended from the ceiling before they get to the leader; this trainer has more advanced flying Pokémon and offers a smaller prize after winning - a potion or some such.
Appearance: Standing at around five feet nine inches in height. Tamaki has neck length blonde hair and tends to dress rather casual. He pulls on baseball jerseys or elbow length t-shirts with jeans and a sweater around the waist for if it gets cold. His eyes are a blue gray color and he tends to fix his hair with some gel so it doesn’t get tangled up. He also wears a cap some of the time and has a small stud piercing in his ear.
Personality: Impish is the best way to describe him. Very friendly but can prank with the best. He’s open about most of his emotions and will defend his friends to a fault. He also is very protective of his pokemon. On the bad side he’s stubborn and can be reluctant to do things he doesn’t want to. He can throw temper tantrums at times when he gets frustrated. He’s kind to kids, but less so to adults as he feels most don’t understand pokemon.
