Well, I thought that I would be updating this place once a week, but I think I've run out of things to say already. Ah well. I do have pleasant news to share from my family. My sister is pregnant. :) The due date is sometime in November, and I'm sure there'll be much celebrating by then!

It's been snowing here recently. Not really heavy dumps, but not a light dusting either. And yet on other days, it's been very bright and sunny. Has anyone else noticed that Black History Month in the United States and Canada is the shortest month of the year? That almost seems racist in and of itself, but the impression I get is that if one month is devoted to the history of black people, does that mean that the other eleven months are devoted to the history of white people?
