My coworker doesn't "get" wrestling, and truthfully, it's easy not to. For the uninitiated, however, let me go over a couple things.

All entertainment has rules, primarily the suspension of disbelief. For example, in most TV shows everyone sits on only three sides of the table-- that's because you don't really want anyone's back to the audience
