I thank all of the good things in the universe for sending me Sweetie. I thought for a nanosecond about changing her name but it fits her so well.

She's gotten used to the house and she's exploring it confidently. She's playful and happy. It's so wonderful to come home to a loving presence.

I think she and I need each other.

I love that name - Sweetie. That would be so much fun to come home and say, "Hello Sweetie!" You're such a good kitty mommy, she's gonna get so much love and feel so good and safe.

And I have found that the universe DOES eventually catch up to what you need, although it may not come back to you in the original packaging ;)

My favorite packaging is adorable black cats, so I'm lucky that way. :)

Yeah, Sweetie is a good name.

My kitty is Pumpkin! I just couldn't hang with Buttercup. Naming my cat after a gourd seemed so much more, uh, sane. ;)

It probably should have been Charlene Manson in retrospect. Phhht.
