I never liked Glass or his piss poor scripts so I agree with you here. I thought his swansong, 'About A Boy' was pretty good but that was mainly due to the performance of the kid who played Dean. I wasn't sorry to see him go. I just don't think he ever 'got' Supernatural in the way the best writers do.

Oh, man, he wrote About a Boy, too? I didn't catch that. Wow, so he's the culprit to the massive, gaping plothole that was the Mark of Cain disappearing under a simple witch's curse? Granted, it would have been incredibly creepy in a not-so-good-for-TV way for wee Dean to have murder issues, and it's hard to blame someone too much for wanting to explore a more MotW, fun concept like that despite what season we were in, but still. It could have easily been averted by a line or two at the end (i.e., "I felt it coming on near the end there anyway, Sam"), but laziness won out.
