Looking Back, Looking Forward
Entry for last year
2009.
Wow. um, It has been a serious roller coaster of a year.
The basics can be summed up with the following:
Feb: decide to move studio upstairs from the basement
Mar: discover we are preggo
May: Derek looses job (which he hated, but dude... the timing!)
Aug: Derek gets new job (which is still kinda suboptimal, but better than old job, and better than unemployment)
Sept: acquire second car
Oct: I end up leaving work 2 weeks early due to mild pre-eclampsia
Nov: Josh comes into our lives
Other things of note, due to nursing, I am down 25lbs under what I weighed in Feb. However, I have also lost a great deal of muscle tone in the process. I need to find the time in my new schedule to get in some exercise.
Goals for 2010:
Enjoy Josh, and watching him grow.
Make time for me.
Figure out how to work in gym time in my new life.
Work more on mural, and art in general.
Work on the garden.
