A new water heater is basically the cost of a major appliance, right? So, an annoying but not devastating surprise.

I can't wait to get back into the housing market and toss all my money on repairs like this. Unfortunately, Canada right now looks like the US in early 2007.

50gal tank was 740, so yah, major appliance level of cost, but it was yet another thing to the pile.
