Name five bands, artists, albums, whatever that you really love and why.
Mike patton: Lovage album, faith no more, dillinger escape plan vs. mike patton, general mike patton vs. the executioners, mr bungle, fantomas.
Why? I have a short attention span & all of his albums are so diverse & different, so many different styles of music!! his voice is amazing... words can't even do the man justice.
Hmm, five. Not my absolute favourites (with exception to maybe Muse) but here is some music which is pretty cool that you may like. :)
Mogwai - Dreamy, amazing music. Muse - Lush, gorgeous rock with kick arse melody and content. At the drive in - Intense and just fucking brilliant. Devil Doll - Swing/Rockabilly, pretty foxy sound. Revolting Cocks - Attitude.
I remember hearing some Mogwai stuff a while back and liking it. Same with At The Drive In. Probably should give them both another listen. The rest... I'll have to look for. Thanks :)
Fantômas - The Directors Cut - The best of horror cinema as played by the best avante-gard metal band ever. Morphine - The Night - This album will make you feel like you're the sexiest motherfucker alive - and let's face it, you probably are. Mastodon - Leviathan - It's metal, but it's good metal. That, and sea beasts are awesome. Tom Waits - Blood Money - Anyone who can't find the intense beauty in Tom Wait's music is a complete idiot. No exceptions. Team Sleep - Team Sleep - I think, if you end up liking anything that I've recommend, then it will probably be this album. It's quite chillaxed.
Haha. Awesome reasons. I think I may have heard Tom Waits at your place once. The guy has a rather... distinctive voice? In any case, I'll have a poke around and see what agrees with me :P Thanks, dude.
um sorry i don't know what came over me.... anyhow...yeah bands, um Mindless self induldgence, cause they are awesome....and im to lazy to recommend anything else that you don't already know
I've got a bunch of MSI stuff on my 'puter. About 60-odd mp3s, but I'm not a big fan of them. If I'm in the right sort of mood, they're alright, but... I don't know. Thanks anyways.
Awww so cute! Everyone is getting new kittehs and puppees... I WANT ONE! ='(
Hmmn, well I have no idea as to what you have at the moment, so screw you if you've got them =P [And I wont go into the why's!] Massive Attack - Mezzanine Kyuss/QotSA/EoDM - any album! Pnau - anything! Snot - Snot Pink Floyd - Everything!
I SO want to see Pan's!! =( And not too sure about the sipahs... heh
They're so much fun! Until they decide they want to climb up your bare legs with claws out. Argh. But they're easily amused. I threw a bit of scrunched up paper at Zak this afternoon and he was happy chasing it around for a good 20mins.
I need to listen to more Massive Attack. Go gorgeous. QotSA I quite like. Everything else... I need to find now :D
Go and see it then :P It really is a great movie. Very bitter sweet. Visually stunning.
Sipahs are great! Maccas has them with a kids meal, apparently? I got my sister to get me some boxes of them at Woolworths, though :D
