The boy had last week off, so we went out and did a few things.
- Saw A Series of Unfortunate Events. I highly recommend it. Beautiful movie, and funny as well. <3 Billy Connolly.
- Wednesday Markets, Darling Harbour for lunch. Aquarium (we saw Nemo >_<). Caught a people mover/train around Darling Harbour. Browsed shops.
I love my camera phone. I love it good :D
Aww.
- Elektra. Please, people, don't waste your money on this piece of shit. Ugh.
Weekend involved Glebe markets, lunch with the family at an Indian place in Glebe and lots of blissful sleeping in.
I've started a few small sewing projects. I feel like incorporating a little more velvet and lace into my wardrobe. My bookcase is also coming along nicely. So far it's only partially stained, because I haven't felt like being outside much in this heat.
Best find at the markets.. Ever! A Lady Lovely Locks video.. in perfect condition!
It was my absolute favourite cartoon when I was a child. I can still remember half the lines from it >_<
Had a poke around Newtown for clothes as well. Am I the only one who thinks forking over $115 for a t-shirt with some plastic crap on it is a bit.. er.. stupid? What really amazes me is that these things stay at that price because they actually sell. Idiots are willing to hand over copious amounts of cash for some over priced piece of crap you could probably find elsewhere for half the price, or even less! Hell, you could probably make it if you had the right kind of creative flair.
A few days after New Years, we made a trip into the zoo.
Aww. Kitten.
Grraaghh!
Edit: Does anyone know where you can find nag champa oil in Syd? I know it exists, I just can't find it.
