Ah family reunions... at least it sounds like your family gets along. So that's good.

I'm going to be called Ms. Taylor...freaky.

Faculty? Wow, why is it always scary when someone I know from high school gets that rank/status/whatever? Haha, you'll be fine, but yes freaky.

Ya, my family gets along wonderfully. I just wish we could all get together more often. It's like pulling teeth to do it, but once we're together it's great.

And I can't believe you hadda went to Jersey through the City. Stoopid Google. What's the matter with taking the Thruway to the Garden State or the Palisades? It should know better.

I know! I really think it was for the tolls or something. And I think it's the most direct route...except for traffic. Whatever, it wasn't too bad.

Yeah, Google doesn't factor in traffic, though I think they're trying to make some sort of feedback thing that'll go into Google maps and add in the traffic factor. Or maybe it's one of the things they're looking for freelance coders to do. I can't remember.
