Bill does a ps3 do everything that the ps2 did? Is there really much difference? Do the games from the 2 work in the 3? Or rather are the games interchangeable? mom

There are SOME PS2 games that work on the PS3 - but you can't go the other way of course.

The PS3 is considerably more advanced. Much better graphics, plays BluRay movies, has wireless controllers, internet browsing, etc.

Andy was just here and he and I talked about them. He told me to buy a WII. Which is some ways I would like, but I don't know I will probably not buy either..

Thats what Emily has, a Wii. Its fun and the games are much easier to grasp than games for the PS3.

Why do you want a game system?

I'd like the wii for exercise. But I like the ps2 for the karaoke. Dad and I used to like to play ninteno so I think maybe it would be nice to have something, Truth is I don't know how much we would really use it. But the girls might when they are here. So I don't know... The other night our freezer(downstairs) went out so we are thinking about getting a new one. We need a freezer more that a video game system.

You can do karaoke on the Wii. You can also play old Nintendo games on the Wii.

Here is a list of all of the "classic" games that you can play on the Wii:

Every 'point' is a penny, so a game that costs 500 points actually costs $5.

You can get the game 'Rock Band' for Wii, which includes a guitar, drum kit, and microphone, and you can do karaoke and play the drums and guitar.
