It's pretty sad how many religious people out there think that because a person is an athiest that they must not have morals and think they can do anything with no consequences.... we make our own decisions based on our personal beliefs, how we naturally feel about something, not the beliefs of some book that is trying to tell us how to live. We can't leverage our religion to get our needs met or abuse it to no end.
I left religion long ago in hopes of never having someone assume I'm a "certain way" because I'm religious.
Losing a Worther's Original just after opening it is definitely a tragedy man.....I feel for ya, and I've been there. :(
3 things you should never discuss on a first date, religion, politics and past relationships. Unless you don't want the date to work out anyway. Sorry about the worther's maybe you should try to break them in half before you put them in your mouth.
You know I'll bet if you went to a nice church you could meet a nice christian girl....
I also think that I'd rather discuss religion and politics on the first date just to weed out the ones that aren't going to last anyway. It saves time.
I always thought that the good topics to talk about on a first date included questions like, "Are you a US Citizen?" "Do you have a job?" "Do you have a 401k or a dental plan?" "Do you like kids?" "What about animals....what kinds of animals do you like?" "What is your last name?" Might seem strange, but I do not want to date a guy named something like Harry Ballsitch III
I leave the political and religious discussions until at least the 2nd or 3rd date...but I need to know the answers to the really important questions first.
