I finally had a chance to investigate new car insurance companies and get some quotes. I got maybe 10 quotes and they varied wildly. I currently pay just about $1600 a year for insurance. $1600? Are you under 25?

I drive a 350Z and I pay $600.....but I AM married, though honestly, I didn't think it would make that big of a difference.

I turn 25 on Saturday, hence the big dip in price. :D I'm sure being married makes a difference, and its also more expensive to have insurance in San Diego than in Seattle, partly because there are so many uninsured motorists (aliens) and because EVERYTHING is more expensive here. :P

Paying for uninsured motorists huh? I'd be pissed, they should do something about that. :(
