Okay, so one of the big problems that we have out at the observatory right now is internet access. We've got a donate satellite system that gives us decent bandwidth (2Mbit up / 256Kbit down) but the latency is horrible (nearly a second!), and that much upload speed really doesn't cut it when transferring full-size uncompressed pictures. Well, this is my first time trying to type a post on my iPhone, let's see how it goes. :) I am just getting ready to board the plane, the airport is packed so I am sitting on the floor next to the starbucks. I have a rediculously long layover in denver of 2 hours, which is lame. I will post when I am in town. :)

This last week has been pretty fun. I played World of Warcraft, hung out with Tristan and the boys, went out to eat with Kim and got toootally hammered. I've thrown up THREE TIMES so far!! And now of course, I have a bit of a cold coming on again. Ugh ( Read more... )
