Also I dyed my hair. It's about as close as I'm going to get back to my natural hair colour after raping it with dye for who knows how long. It's obviously a bit paler, but that's because I had to strip the fuck out of my hair before I could try and dye it.

Yeah, hairdressers give me shit whenever I see them too. My hair is naturally dry so I generally have to wash it every 3 days rather than more frequently, or it turns into straw- especially when I've dyed it. fff

There is this particular shampoo/conditioner I used when I had money to spare that really helps hydrate hair, it's pricey because it's professional grade... but you can get it at beauty supply places. I'll look up the name for you just in case.

Sally's has this amazing after dye treatment that will fix up your hair like a mother fucker. I think it's $4 for it, but I can't rememebr the name off hand. If you go just ask them for an after dye treatment :3

I have no idea how my hair handles it, to be honest. It remains a mystery to me. Maybe because I use a ton of conditioner or something? I dunno.
