flood 2008 part 2
Here's part two.
We were still not able to get back on the levee we were on earlier yesterday, but we were able to get on the next one over so you will sort of be able to see the same items from about 24 hours before.
Look they called in reinforcements.
The water is actually bubbling out of the manhole...meaning our sewers are flooded to capacity
These are of the gate for the levee and the levee, being heightened
Remember the pictures of the ball field from last night well......
We went back and their back to not letting people on the levees, all of them. We were able to get some pictures on the road, but it's not likely we'll be able to get the same reference points from now on.
Between the police, national guard, army and $500 fine, no more levee shots. And there probably won't be anymore pictures of the ballpark from the via dock, since well 1. it's completely flooded and 2. I sprained my ankle on the damn thing. But we'll find stuff so anyone who cares to look at this can see the progress of the flood.
Look those poor trees are almost completely underwater.
