I'm bothered by the trend during this time of year for many candy makers to produce candy-cane-infused versions of their core products. "green" Ande's mints are delightful and tasty. Adding candy cane shells to them does not improve anything and just makes me unhappy.

bah.

humbug.

Ande's... now with shards of glass...

Yuck.

I agree. Original is holiday enough.

Had some fudgepacker pull this trick at a family gathering. Three separate plates of fudge; by "claim" a diverse array of peanut butter-fudge, chocolate-fudge and vanilla-fudge. But spoiling all samples? Mint poured into the batch so thickly that it could better be described as MINTsomethingsomething for each plate.

Mint and all it's peppery variations are evil incarnate.
