Last night after work i raced to the hospital to see my grandmother. she fell on sunday and broke her hip. my aunt took her in to the hospital that night and her surgery was scheduled for yesterday afternoon. they said the surgery was high risk. i called my aunt at lunch and left a message asking if i should come by before the surgery but she ( Read more... ) -

arg.
so mad.
just listening to the jaguar that was shot and killed up north because it escaped from some small "zoo". the police found it killing the zoo owners dog and they said they "had no choice but to kill it".
arg. so many things about this are wrong..... it makes me so mad a situation like this could ever happen. -

today is a very special day, it is my baby birds anniversary! 18 years ago i was given my little lovebird and i have been bird crazy ever since! we figure she was about a year when we got her. i really wish i knew her hatch day.

what a fantastic weekend! although i didnt do much. I spent Friday night watching life on mars and painting. saturday i went down to the lake to take pictures. there was no one around! it was beautiful! i walked along the lake watching these odd little black and white ducks diving under the water. i said hello to the swans and took their ( Read more... )
