So, I've updated my profile. I've changed the view of my journal. I've removed enough icons so I can use some that fit me better now than the ones that were available to me... And now it's just time for me to post

Letting go and starting over is the best thing you could do. Staying would have been...ummm.. stupid. Close one door and there are others to open. I'm old...I know this is true.

Ya, it hurts, but the pain means you're still alive :) ouchy.

Write on. That's what I do. Don't much care what others think as the words flow from my fingers. It's good to get it out.

I'm so glad you finally got out of that emotionally abusive relationship. Because that's what it was. Someone doesn't have to have bruises you can visibly see to be abused.

And for that reason, I say, "Get thee to a therapist STAT!!" And if it's a money issue, seek out some of the battered women's organizations local to you and see if they can help. I'm telling you - you need help and it's VERY OK to ask for it.

Until then, you can write whatever you want here without fear of retribution. We're here to listen.
