Hello Soldier!

Hope you get over the cold quickly so you can really show them what you've got! Only time I ever got to shoot guns was the morning after Yusef parties. I rang in Y2K with a 9mm... it ain't a Yusef party if there isn't a trip to the firing range the next day! Perhaps you can do a workshop on cleaning M16s at National Convention? LOL

Not sure when I'll get to write to you again, but since my birthday is coming up in about a month, I know yours is too. Happy Birthday if I don't get to say it again closer to the actual date!

Christine

Timber, I'm glad you are having fun. I'm surprised they don't have you take your M16 into the latrine. :)

I'm working with a brother at Mason who is fluent in ASL and I'm trying to get her movies showing the Toast Song done in sign. There are a few places for the Toast Song online that mention a movie you had with the ASL, but I can't find the movie, any ideas? The one on the National web page has it in the footnotes but doesn't actually have it.

I can step up the plate and give this one to you Randy... as Timber doesn't have 'net access to find it there...

I have it on my site, at apospirit.net -slash- toast.html (i have it like this, so those sneaky robots stay away from my site :) )

I've give that to her. Has the National fraternity stepped up and said that is an official translation? (or any other for that matter). I'd be surprised, but wierder things have happened.

Simply stated, there is no official ASL version.
At least NatCon, they had interpreters too (which is a good thing, mind you)... So those who have been used to signing it for years did not get the chance.
