Back. Have mostly cleared up the myriad of computer issues making me steer clear of LJ. Actually, it was either here or Fecebook* that I got this malware from in the first place. A popup saying "you have eight thousand viruses, download this thing to clean that up" showed itself, and of course I didn't download that but the fact that I got the

Aha, thanks for the confirmation. Ironically, though I hadn't seen it again for ages, about three nights ago I was on my other computer looking at Bulbapedia and I got the exact popup thing I was talking about. Did a scan immediately afterwards and it found nothing so I assume that I was worried about nothing all along.
Thanks a lot for the invite offer, but these days I'm trying to keep things like LJ to a minimum because I always neglect them from time to time and I don't want to feel like there's a bunch of different sites nagging at me to update, know what I mean? That was part of the reason I was mad that my friend signed me up to Facebook without my consent.
It does sound cool that it can crosspost to LJ automatically... no, stay strong CK, you already have enough things to keep track of passwords for XD
