I get that you are an old school hacker and Transhumanist in the scientific sense of the word (as opposed to subscribing to any of my fluffy idealism) but my intention is to unite the outsider youth and create a revolution of out-of-the-box thought. I much prefer "new prototype" to "goth" or "rivethead" and think that all outsiders/artists should declare themselves to be the next step of evolution. I am a scientist in my worldview but philosophy is of more interest to me as an artist. Writing a manual for the new paradigm has more appeal to me than sitting around deconstructing new schools of thought based on semantics. If you reject anything new how to do you expect anything new to happen?

Agreed, my tl;dr response has always been "Prove you can't be grouped into Homo Sapiens first" to the Transhuman thing, considering the insanely wide breadth of human experience, culture and technology (primitive and bleeding edge alike), that's a tough sell.
and the world as you envision it will come into focus because it is already here.
Right here ^^^ In short, by definition, we can identify "transhuman" as well as we can identify "alien" - ie.. we have encountered neither, and all our ideas of either, come from ourselves.
And while we are being critical I would like point out that “We are not Humanity. We are not Human” is scientifically inaccurate, like transhumanism ‘species’ is a word with a very specific taxonomic meaning which you can Wiki. If your parents were human so are you.
