One of the things I miss most about my time being intentionally unemployed is how much I was able to keep track of folks. In hindsight, I think I may have ended up spending almost as much time in the social interwebs while unemployed as I did gaming pre-parenthood. I miss that, though I probably indulged a little more than was valuable

I understand so well. eh, quoting from an email i got today: "I am glad you are alive . . . even if the technical term is “undead.” Just remember what my mother said to me - this is the hardest part - two young kids and a demanding job. It only gets easier from here. So she says." one kid isn't significantly easier :)
