HAI GUYZ! One of my New Years Resolutions that I didn't make this year (because I never make New Years Resolutions) was to start posting into my professional blog. I sort of regret that I'm no longer in the modern video gaming loop; I tend to run a few years behind, so I've been playing the heck out of some PS2 RPGs. I played the Osmos demo, which was a cute idea, but somehow didn't grab me more than your standard addictive flash game. I've heard good things about Dragon Age, so who knows, maybe in a few years I'll try it out.

I've played more of Osmos since I made that post, and it has a decent amount of depth and variation. In some levels, the entire field is filled with motes, and the objective is to find a path that allows you to become huge without brushing against motes that are larger than yours; in others, the field is sparse, and the motes are fast-moving and predatory.

Speaking of Flash games, there's the freebie Flash version of Dragon Age here if you're looking to waste some time: http://www.dragonagejourneys.com/ But honestly it's like night and day how...um...tedious I found the Flash game compared to how engaging I found Dragon Age: Origins. Which will probably be the topic of my next post on the other blog. If you mess around with Dragon Age Journeys, I'd be curious to know your thoughts.

Yeah, I played the flash game for a while, beat a few quests, and then got bored.
