Meet Phi. He came into the Program late with his older brother and sister and alternates being with them every day. He's so little... aww.

Thomas: My favorite little troublemaker. We mesh well because I see some of myself in him, so I'm almost the only person he'll listen to at Program. Oh, if the supervisors found out that 1/2 the stuff he did was an idea from me... I would have been thrown out of the Program so fast. So here's a toast to troublemakers everywhere: Keep it rollin'.

Lilly makes me smile. She's my favorite littlest girl at the program. Her and...

Lyla!! Look at her dimples! They're on her cheekbones! I'm going to miss Lyla and how it was a ritual to comfort her because she was so afraid to be embarrassed. She reminds me of a jack-o-lantern. A tiny jack-o-lantern. I like that term. Jack-o-lantern.

And then there was Johnny. Doesn't his name suit him so well? He wouldn't smile for the camera, but he's an amazing kid all the same. He's the type of kid that gets overexcited about everything and starts yelling, but not on purpose. He's.... boisterous!

The little girl in pink is Johnny's sister, Cindy. She's the all-around popular, cool kid. She's enjoyable. The black woman behind her... is interesting. The first time I met her, she said I looked like a rich, white suburban girl. But she warmed up towards me and we're chill now. She's my age and her stance/ overall look in this picture is exactly how she feels about kids. I feel sad for her in this sense... she hates kids like anorexics hate food.

This is Elvis. I think he's going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up, because a.) His name is Elvis, and b.)He rocks. And no, I don't know what the board behind him means/says.

Kelly La. She's Tram La's sister (coming up), and Lilly La's cousin. Kelly cried lots and was sick a lot of the time, but I still liked her a lot. She's quiet just like Lilly. This is Kelly trying to figure out how to fly her kite. She didn't really figure it out.

Today we totally made kites and flew them outside. It was fun for everyone!!

Poor unfortunate Lana. She had good intentions always, but unfortunately her energetic attitude always got the best of her. She ticked me off at times unintentionally, but hey, that's what kids do. Amazing personality though... I shant forget her.

See? I was really there. Anna Do took this picture... but she wouldn't let me take one of her because her parents believe in the whole "cameras will steal your soul" deal. Silly Asians... everyone on the East Coast knows that it's vampires who suck the soul out.

Sierra. The girl adored me, but was a real pouter. In fact, in the first picture I took, she was pouting because for lunch we had turkey sandwiches and she hates turkey. Then I got her to smile; she looks prettier with one on.

Quintia. Now this girl went out of her way to annoy me. I think it was her little way of showing me how much she admired me, but daaaaamn. In the picture she has sandwich crumbs on her face. She's a pretty girl, but her incessant chatter can just wear me down to nothing. I wouldn't change her for anything, though.... truly Quintia is one of a kind,

Tram La in the gray and white; Quintia in the back, and Kim La in the pink. Tram had a tough day; a boy pushed her when she was flying her kite and she cried... so she was pretty worn when i took this. Kim La is gorgeous and she has a really chill personality;she goes with the flow and is very protective of her cousins and sister (Lilly). And Quintia... wellll.... I think this picture outlines her rather nicely.

I saved my favorite for last (yes, she is my favorite of all 90 kids... so sue me because I have one), Kaylin. This girl has got more passion and imagination and good will than any of the other kids, and I love her for it. Every time I've talked to her, it looks as if her mind is racing a mile a minute because I can see it in her eyes. She's so bright and sooo amazing;I'm going to miss her the most. :-(

Those are all the pictures I have, and so ends another chapter in my life. For now... if my schedule permits, then I am definitely doing this again next year. ^_^

Ciao!
