I like this picture more. :P

Oh yeah. The maggot. LOL. I showed my friend the picture and she freaked out a little bit. I thought that was pretty cool, even cooler if they actually put a real maggot on his eye. :P It's going to be so awesome!

Sexyback. ♥

I not-so-secretly pray he will appear A LOT more than what he got in 2046. I thought that was quite pathetic. It wouldn't have made a difference if they used Kimura or not.

I do not agree with you on this subject. I love "2046" as a whole movie and think that Kimura, even if he had only about 20 min in the film, did his parts quite well ( ... )

I see your point in the matter and I'm not at all doubting Kimura's skills as an actor nor was it about the screen time. Yes, it was a great opportunity for him to work with Wong Kar Wai and I know he himself enjoyed it a lot. But sometimes I can't help but feel as if Wong Kar Wai used him as a mere publicity stunt. With Wong's inconsistency with keeping to his scripts, he could of easily decided that he wanted Kimura in the movie and edited it to fit him into a script that wasn't meant to be. Although the movie did turn out quite smooth (and it should, having used more than 4 years to perfect it), it just seems as if Kimura was inserted forcefully in place of what Tony Leung could also have done. I would indeed feel less suspicious if Wong hadn't chosen Kimura for this role, but at the same time, it is an honour knowing Wong hand picked Kimura for the film (contradicting, I know).

By the way, I'm sorry if I've offended/still offending you in any way... 2046 is a film I don't feel as strongly for as compared to Wong Kar Wai's ( ... )
