The following questions from
cherry_echo 1. What do you want to do as a job when you are done school? and why do you think that is the best job for you?
Isn't that the million dollar question? Probably not. I'll be lucky if it's worth more than a few thousand. I can't tell you for sure what I want to do because I don't know what that is, not really. I can tell you what the Plan is, though. The Plan is that I'll get my TESOL certification after I graduate and go teach English overseas for a year or two, and then return to this continent for grad school in the hopes of a career in teaching/researching English lit and cultural studies at a postsecondary level. Simultaneously I will go on writing spec-fic in my free time with the hope that something that could be described as "polished", "professional", and above all "published" might come of it. The Plan is subject to change without notice at any given time. The Plan is the Plan because, to the best of my knowledge, it most closely aligns itself with my current interests and passions.
2. If a girl wanted to start reading a comic book series, (this girl being me haha) what series would you think is the best one to start off in? and why?
That's tough. I'm not sure if you'd really be into the whole superhero thing. Well, in your case, I think I'd suggest some graphic novels rather than an actual comic book series. Probably Sandman, but I'd suggest starting with Endless Nights just to see if you get a taste for it. I've also got Stardust, another Neil Gaiman graphic, that's more like a fairy tale (but with depth). Otherwise, you should ask Justin-- who knows a whole lot more about comic books than I do.
3. What is something embarassing that i dont know about you? and justin? haha
When we were in elementary, we formed this spy club called "Spy Club". Our mission was to "spy" on our classmates and figure out what scandals were imminent (there was always something new happening. Drama!). We were like midget papparazzi.
4. What is your perfect type of woman? and why?
I don't think I have one. My "type" would have to have some similar interests, such as reading, and similar tastes...but not too similar, because that would be boring. She would have to have similar values about such things as family and social issues, but again not too similar because life's no fun without variety and some open discourse. She'd also need to tell the difference between my serious moods and my whimsical ones, and get my sense of humour.
Oh yeah. She would also be flexible like an acrobat and be amazing in the sack.
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, and afford to live there, where would you live and why?
I wouldn't live anywhere permanently, if I had the money. I'd be the eternal traveller, and my goal would be to see every corner, no matter how dark or dusty, on the globe. I don't know if I'd put that down to some generalized sense of adventure so much as an intense desire to experience and learn new things.
