At first it was exciting, but now it's getting dull. Big deal, someone else died. Oh, yay, someone else got the shit beat out of them. It's only an event if it's rare. With you lot, it's like clockwork. Doesn't the rage ever get old? I'm tired just by watching it. It's just the same shit over and over again. Stop being so repetitive. At least ( Read more... )

A week, and I'm already bored of it.

What's it to you?

Well. It wouldn't be 'like clockwork' if you've only been here a week.

And death should always be a big deal, shouldn't it? No matter if they come back; we don't understand everything about it, and ... it's always horrible to lose someone, even for just a day.

I'm counting - in one week - two major assaults and three murders. Five in nine days makes a new one every other day. Now, I could be wrong, but I think the definition of "like clockwork" is "with fucking regularity?"

Oh, but please, do cry about your poor dead friends you won't see again until tomorrow.

You haven't been here long enough to complain like that.

Go a month first.

Sorry, I wasn't aware there was an official set of rules for this matter.

It really is regular, isn't it.

Yes. Normal.

Well, how many should I see before I'm a full-fledged member of this little city? Ten murders? I'm warning you, it'll take me a lot less than a month to get there, at this rate.

Honestly, I couldn't care less where they were. I want to know how they work.

Agreed. I find much of the technology involved in this interesting. To be able to cross worlds? Suppress powers in such a manner? Truly incredible.

There are ways to block someone's ki. Or at least keep the body from being able to use it. But half my systems are down, and that takes something more than just the suppression of energy. Not to mention that in the past, they've apparently caused mood swings, etc., yet we have no signs of brain surgery when we arrive. Which I at least figure would be the way one does that.

Gee, now I'm all nostalgic.

Assault isn't as fun when other people do it.
