Well both boys are playing ball and this whole weekend has been a Baseball tournament and fair in lakeview. It is kinda funny but I forgot how much I enjoy baseball. I played ball growing up from age 4 till high school, then I quit to pursue other things ( Read more... )

I had a dream the other night and you and I were makin fun of people at a convention and then we left and had sushi. Quite bizarre.

Good to see a dad who enjoys being a dad.

I've enjoyed watching you muck around and interact with your kids. I especially appreciate the humor you bring to it. Like, many situations that would have been tense are immediately lightened by a joke... especially the inevitable confrontations and power plays.

You use humor in a very compassionate way, and that's really nice to see.

Well i split the difference i had him when i was in my early 30s so ill be just about to retire when he leaves the nest...perfect timing if you ask me. With a wife 11 years my younger it will work out for me. Lots of time to play around with my retirement fund and have a woman still out there making the moolah to take care of me.

ANd yea..for the most part i love being a dad. Ill admit i would like it if i could just take off every once in a while and go do stuff and sometimes i can but alot of times i cant. Not to mention the money holy crap the daycare alone is a car payment for a NICE car.

But damn he is funny and sweet and cute when he isnt beating up the other kids in his class at school *sigh*

have fun with being a parent..it doenst last forever.

We feel ya. It's hard work and sometimes you just want to take off for the day. Being a parent means that you work 24-7. But we're looking forward to that time in our lives when the kids are gone and we've still got youth (somewhat) on our side.
