and gillian welch is coming in august.. sigh. :)
just have to get a ticket, figure out where park west is, find a way to get there...and i'm set...maybe i shouldn't put too much hope into this...or MAYBE i should.

the park west is where i saw jeff tweedy -- great sound, and a very very nice venue. fits maybe 750 people.

i hate large crowds...but it is gillian.

but i have no car, and i'm thinking the train won't take me there..i need to do my research.

if i don't go you'll have to let me know how it goes...and of course tell me how "terrible" it is, so i don't feel too bad. :)

You can take the blue or red (can't remember which) there and then walk - it won't take more than 20 minutes to walk from the train - I think it's the Fullerton stop? I used to take the North Ave. bus from my apartment to get there. I saw Tori there once and spent about 13 hours total outside - know it all too well :). It's sort of almost by that park, you know - that separates Lincoln Park from Lake Shore Drive - it is in Lincoln Park.
