I was like, I'm gonna finish this story by Christmas!! and then I didn't because there just kept being more words. Dammit, story! And then Nick and Harry spent another Christmas together and I was like, oh!! Okay! *WEEPS?* But anyway, here's this.

This is like Christmas all over again! I love the way your Nick is still insufferably Nick (where everything in his life is really difficult and none of it is his fault) but it's understated, not pushed to the point of ridiculous. There's such a quiet vulnerability about him, too, in the flickers of his insecurities. And Harry-- Harry is so sweet, you crafted his whole heart-on-his-sleeve-ness through Nick's eyes so perfectly. The whole thing was just so warm and comforting and the best sort of snuggly-perfect. This was fabulous and I'm not surprised and you are great and THANK YOU. <3<3<3<3

Thank you Chelle!! Glad you like the way I characterized Nick, I definitely try to make him...more sufferable than insufferable, I guess. Haha. I wanted the story to feel nice and cozy so I'm glad that came across. I'm happy you enjoyed it, thank you for commenting lovely. <3 <3 <3

It seems to be easy to make Nick clueless and insufferable, but this Nick is so great. He realizes that he has been completely charmed by Harry, and while the whole thing is ridiculous, it is also real. And I am so glad you just let Nick be OK with that ♥ And Harry? Well, who would even stand a chance when he has his made up his mind. Declaring his intentions!!

Ahaha I couldn't, I love Nick too much! I think he can play up the clueless goofball look but I don't doubt that he's a self-aware dude. He can clearly handle Harry. Thanks for commenting, doll. <3
