Musings.

Today was not a good day for the first part. We went to bed last night wondering where the hell Mystic was, as we couldn't find her anywhere, and she has a tendancy to hole up if she's ill or wounded, and is likely to be hauled off to the vet's. We were both convinced we'd not let her out. None of the cats were let out yesterday. We both looked ( Read more... )

Oh I hate it when cats go walkabout without warning their owners! I spent a night, a few years ago now, waking up thinking... Hexie should be in... I didn't see him before I went to bed... I know he's not ok...

The next morning I found him in the bathroom having been in a fight with, I kid you not, a badger. That was the vet's opinion, not mine! It took months and a few grand to get him fixed but he was worth every penny. So glad yours turned up unscathed!

Argh - it's Pilf... not sure why Google is failing me...

And I have my fingers crossed for you, job wise :)

Thank you!

Ow, poor Hexie, and a badger?! Blimey, that's one tough cat if he was taking on a badger! Three years ago Mystic managed to have issues with a fox, which bit her deeply on the neck, and we didn't notice it initially, as she's a very fit cat, and played healthy at us. Took us a couple of months, 2 ops involving about 60 stitches, about £500 or so and a lot of worry for her to get back to full fitness. Which may be why we're both so edgy about her going missing again.

(Pic of her stitched up here, if you're not too squeamish http://cygninae.livejournal.com/2008/04/03/)

And thank you for the crossed fingers, it would be so perfect for me, I'd be squeeing very happily if I got that!

Thank you, it has to be done, is minimal wage, but it sounds like it could be interesting.
